Meal Preparation & Production Shifts

Fridays 1.30pm - 4pm

Group Size

8–20 volunteers per group. (Smaller or larger groups may be accommodated—please email corporatevolunteering@secondbite.org with your enquiry.)

What to Expect

📍 Location: 1–9 South Audley Street, Abbotsford
Your team will receive a warm welcome, a safety briefing, and guidance from our experienced chefs. You'll get hands-on with:

Preparing, cooking, and packing meals at scale
Knowing every meal you make goes to someone in need
We aim to make your experience safe, fun, and rewarding!

Financial Contribution

To help cover the costs of running these sessions, we require a financial contribution:

Meal Packing Shifts: Financial contribution per group of 8-10 volunteers $1,450 plus GST OR Financial contribution per group of 11-20 volunteers $2,900 plus GST
Invoices are issued upon confirmation, or you can pay by credit card on booking. Payment is required prior to your shift.

💡 Cancellations & Rescheduling

💡 Volunteer Numbers Matter
The number of volunteers booked directly impacts the number of meals we can prepare and pack. Please ensure you have a backup list in case your numbers decrease before your session as our chefs plan the meals, we make around numbers of volunteers attending.
