Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) is a community led approach to building strong and connected communities. It is a powerful approach to create change.
ABCD is a simple but powerful approach to empowering community members to become change agents. It assists in uncovering hidden assets and showing people they are not clients or consumers but citizens who have the assets, abilities and strength to take control of their own environment. ABCD changes the game from one where services are done to people to where the community leads in actions and change.
