Born in Brooklyn to Ghanaian parents and raised in the Bronx, Gabrielle Kwarteng is a New York-born DJ celebrated for her deep musical knowledge, adventurous selections and ability to weave stories on the dancefloor.

Drawing from the rich traditions of house, disco, techno, Afrobeat and beyond, Kwarteng seamlessly connects dance music’s past with its future. Her genre-fluid approach has earned her a reputation as one of the most exciting selectors in contemporary club culture.

A regular at Berlin’s Berghain and Panorama Bar, where she has delivered marathon seven-hour closing sets, Kwarteng has also graced the stages of Dekmantel, Glastonbury, fabric and Horst. Her reputation extends beyond the underground, with FKA twigs personally inviting her to soundtrack her 2024 Met Gala afterparty.

Rooted in the legacy of Black American dance music and inspired by global sounds, Kwarteng brings warmth, energy and musical curiosity to every performance, creating dancefloor experiences that feel both timeless and forward-thinking.
