Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander NADAbase research webinar
Event description
Overview
• Are you an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander AOD worker; and/or
• Work for an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that is a NADA member service.
We are interested to hear your views on data for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who access alcohol and other drug services.
We are holding a group consultation to get feedback from AOD workers on our data analysis. We would like to hear if our results help to improve our understanding of the treatment needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Most importantly, we would like to hear if our analysis is helpful for the sector.
We hope to use information we get from this research study to:
• Improve our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples accessing AOD services that are reported in NADAbase,
• Improve data collection for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples accessing AOD services,
• Increase the capacity of Aboriginal workers to analyse, interpret and report on data.
