Aboriginal Benefits Foundation Appeal FY27

When a crisis occurs in a small remote community, the Aboriginal Benefits Foundation can be a lifeline. Quick responses with modest but immediate funds for issues of health, both physical and mental can turn a potentially devasting event into hope and wellbeing.

Sometimes the needs are medical aid, relief subsidies at major funerals, suffered by whole communities and/or the death of a key artist and the resulting financial burden to individuals. Minds and hearts can be nourished with fundamental things – the provision of fares, goods, treatment, inspiration and access to arts programs and events.

Sometimes we are asked for simple things – a new fishing boat, fares to an art fair to showcase a beginner’s work, or lifesaving assistance to those who suffer permanent dialysis away from home. This is our 22nd year and we have a large number of applications for help from all parts of Australia.

Please help us to be in a position to respond positively to many. Every dollar will go to help a particular Aboriginal person, family, Aboriginal organisation or program resulting in sometimes life-saving results.
