Event description

Aboriginal people have experienced a special relationship with Country over thousands of years.  Links to Country play a critical role in Identity, Culture and wellbeing.  Steve Warrior from Kuma Kaaru will share insights into how Aboriginal people lived on local lands prior to European settlement and why Country remains fundamental in connecting the past, the present and the future.  This is a rare opportunity to learn and understand more about the unique worldview of Australia's First Nations people.

This event is being partly funded by Burnside City Council.
