Event description

An event to give gratitude, honour & respect to our year of life during 2025, to celebrate and to call in a New Year 2026 to be filled with love, goodwill, justice, repair/renewal/rebirth, meaningful memories and connection.

We will camp together in Wiradyuri Country. We will connect with nature, beautiful Wiradyuri Country and learn Wiradyuri cultural ways of knowing the landscape.

We will visit cultural sites of significance and we will share and connect through Ceremony. We will prepare for a Sunset Ceremony and firelit Corroboree (Aboriginal dancing) on New Year’s Eve. We will wake before dawn and welcome the New Year in with a Sunrise Ceremony & Winhangadhurinya (Wiradyuri meditation/reflection).

We will start our 2026 invigorated, connected & restored!
