20 January 2026: Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Workshop
Event description
Auspire presents a highly engaging half-day workshop in Perth, to gain an awareness of Aboriginal culture, history and experiences of Australia's First Peoples.
Delivered by Auspire - Australia Day Council WA and facilitated by a First Nations' Noongar leader, this workshop explores the values and belief systems of Aboriginal people, discusses the impacts of colonisation, and how these still play out today.
Taking place in the lead-up to Australia Day, you will have the opportunity to have your questions answered during an important time of learning and reflection, within a culturally safe and inclusive workshop framework.
This introductory session is ideal for individuals and teams starting out their Aboriginal Cultural Competency journey, and will help facilitate real and lasting change through changed attitudes and behaviours at both a professional and personal level.
