Abortion care is healthcare: the role of the midwife

The South Australian Abortion Action Coalition invites you to join us for the 2025 abortion care is healthcare event, which will this time focus on the central role of the midwife. This session will bring together specialist clinicians from the South Australian Pregnancy Advisory Centre, midwifery educators and abortion academics; to discuss current evidence, best practices, and lived experiences from those working in this space. Designed for practicing midwives, midwifery students and midwifery educators, this session provides a unique opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and advocate for compassionate, evidence-based care for all women.

Attendance is free - and evidence of attendance will be provided for continual professional development purposes.
