    Event description

How can we use colour and abstraction to emphasise our reality? Does a portrait need to look like a person?

Join Artist and Educator Ruth O’Leary in an experimental abstract portraiture workshop. Considering works of art that raise sensory awareness in our bodies through their formal qualities, Ruth will guide participants through painting and drawing techniques to create imaginative and expressive self-portraits int the form of abstracted works on paper.

Participants with all levels of experience and ability are welcomed and encouraged.
    All materials provided.

    Free, bookings essential

Please note, 10 minutes after the workshop begins your place may be given to someone in the waitlist.
