THRILL (fka Suki)

Thrill by name, thrill by nature. Will Howard's new alias arrived via a boisterous, sci-fi-tinged debut on Kalahari Oyster Cult - dancefloor accelerators built for big rooms.

Before Thrill, there was a decade of proof. As suki, DJ Huntsman and Sniper1, Will built three distinct sonic worlds - trance, techno and house on one side, prog and forest psy as Huntsman, jungle-inflected weight as Sniper1 - each with its own following, its own labels, its own crowd. suki alone landed on Butter Sessions, Dansu Discs, Holding Hands and Shall Not Fade, while the "anyoneknowsuki" Bandcamp series quietly became one of the most-followed underground drops in the scene. When suki and Sniper1 joined forces for Rhythm Export, it sold out in weeks and became a Discogs cult item almost overnight.

The road backed it up. A landmark set at Pitch Music & Arts. A European run through France, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, India and Singapore. B2Bs with Hannah D at Evasion Festival and OHM Berlin, then a 5-hour three-way marathon with Mabel at HORS-SOL. This is someone who's played the rooms that matter, alongside the people who matter, and kept getting invited back.

Off the decks, Will co-founded Weaver Agency - now one of the most influential forces shaping Australia's dance music scene, and Dolphin Flips Records alongside it. He's not just been a product of this scene; he's been building it.

For this one, Abundance joins forces with Intertwined Recordings and Parallel - the same collectives behind Euca last December - to bring Thrill (fka Suki) into a warehouse setting, backed by Au4r33y, Grevillea and Zach O.
