ACA Presents : Voice & Movement Projects 2025
Event description
ACA presents...
Voice & Movement 2025
Directed by Jennifer West & Julia Cotton, and presented by the Graduating Company of 2026.
This double bill of fresh and exciting new works was created just for this occasion. These are the Voice and Movement Projects.
VOICE PROJECT: GOING HOME
A train is delayed, and two very different groups of people, who are strangers to each other, realise that they are travelling together.
MOVEMENT PROJECT: Let a Smile be Your Umbrella
Let A Smile Be Your Umbrella is a tribute, or homage to the late visionary director David Lynch. With many references to Lynch’s work as a multi-media artist and using the iconic television series Twin Peaks as a starting point we have attempted to create a Lynchian world – enigmatic, dark, surreal, absurd and totally bizarre.
“I don’t know why people expect art to make sense. They accept the fact that life doesn’t make sense.” David Lynch
