Event description

As the urgency to combat climate change grows, the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) has become a critical step in creating a sustainable future. However, misconceptions and infrastructure challenges continue to slow adoption.

This panel will explore practical strategies to accelerate the transition to EVs, offering insights on the financial benefits, charging infrastructure, and how to choose the right EV.

Join us as we:

🚗 Debunk common myths surrounding EVs
🔌 Highlight advancements in public and private charging solutions and
💡 Showcase how education and community engagement can overcome barriers

We will also discuss how government policies, incentives, and innovation shape the EV landscape, as well as the long-term cost savings and environmental benefits for individuals and businesses.

We’ll be joined by industry leaders, sustainability advocates, and EV enthusiasts as they share their expertise and vision for driving change. Together, we can spark a movement towards a cleaner, greener transportation future. 🌳

This panel is co-hosted by AEVA and Ivygo.

Julie Perrissel

Co-founder & CEO at Ivygo

Julie is on a mission to make sustainable transport easy, convenient, and financially beneficial for all. After getting her first EV two years ago, Julie often found it difficult to locate available public chargers when she needed them. When she saw her neighbour’s home charger sitting unused in their driveway, she thought it would be great to book it for a fee. This idea led to the creation of Ivygo.

Julie and her team believe everyone should have access to electric vehicles, no matter where they live. Ivygo helps create a more inclusive and sustainable future, ensuring no one is left behind.
