Travel instructions
There are two designated accessible parking spaces and a drop-off bay available at the entrance of the museum. Further designated accessible parking spaces can be found at the entrance of Fisher Library. For other nearby accessible parking locations, see the University of Sydney website: https://www.sydney.edu.au/about-us/campuses/getting-to-campus.html Parking on University grounds is free to all patrons displaying a current Mobility Parking Scheme card, previously known as a Disabled Parking Permit. By Train: It's a roughly 20-minute walk through Darlington to get to the Chau Chak Wing Museum from Redfern Station. Central Station is a 5-minute bus ride, or 30-minute walk, away. By Bus: Several bus stops along Parramatta Road and City Road can be used to visit the University. The nearest bus stop to the museum is on Parramatta Road. Catch routes 412, 413, 436, 438, 439, 440, 461, 480, 483 or Metrobus M10 and alight at the Footbridge stop. For stops on City Road, close to Seymour Centre, catch routes 422, 423, 426, 428, 430, 370 and 352.
Entry instructions
The entrance to the Museum is located on University Place, Camperdown, directly across from the Great Hall and Quadrangle lawns, and next to Fisher Library.
Accessible parking
A drop off bay is available at the front of the Museum for those arriving by taxi or other rideshare companies. Designated accessible parking bays are available at the entrance of the Museum and at the entrance of Fisher Library. Please note, on Saturday 9 March, urgent repair works will be taking place on the accessible parking bay in front of the Museum and as such, there will be limited parking available. For other nearby accessible parking locations, see the University of Sydney website. Limited casual parking is available outside the Museum on University Place and elsewhere on campus.
