Captions and Auslan Interpretation

Open captions will be provided on the day by a stenographer - we will have a screen at the front of the room where these will be displayed. You can also choose to access the captions link on your own device. We can provide an Auslan interpreter upon request - this is an option available upon registration.

Quite space

The balcony on level 5 (where we will be located) can be used as a quiet space. If you need a break, you can use this space at any time during the day. We also have a sensory box available in the main training room for all participants' use.

Digital and Print Resources

Our training handbook will be provided in both print and digital formats. If you would like a large print version or an alternative format, please let us know. All digital versions will be provided in an accessible Word document.

Bathrooms

Accessible bathrooms are available on each level of the building. On level 5, where our training room is located, you will head out the door to the right, then back through the foyer where you entered. Turn to your left past the bar, and directly in front of you will be the bathrooms.

Breaks

We will provide formal breaks every 90 minutes during the day. You are welcome to take more breaks than this or use the sensory space at any time - we are happy to chat with you about any areas you may have missed during the training, and all materials are also covered in our handbook.
