From the Lower Ground, they will take the lift up to the Ground Level, which is where the Stables event space is located 3. From Ground Level, there is a slight, carpeted ramp/decline that leads directly to the Stables 4. Stables is the heritage venue with sandstone brick walls on the right-hand side.

Travelling to the venue by car

1. The closest parking is at Centrepoint Car Park, located at 35 Victoria Street, directly across Collins Street from the hotel (approximately a 2-minute walk). 2. The car park has 16 accessible parking spaces available across Levels 2–7, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Travelling to the venue by public transport

1. The nearest public-transport hub is the Hobart City Interchange/Bus Mall, located approximately a 2–5-minute walk from the hotel. 2. Multiple Metro Tasmania bus routes stop at this interchange, and along Collins Street. 3. Captions and Auslan Interpretation

Open captions will be provided on the day by a stenographer - we will have a screen at the front of the room where these will be displayed. You can also choose to access the captions link on your own device. We can provide an Auslan interpreter upon request - this is an option available upon registration.

Quite space

Outside the training room, there are couches with various seating options - throughout the day, it is a quiet place to take a break. If you need a break, you can use this space at any time during the day. We also have a sensory box available in the main training room for all participants' use.

Digital and Print Resources

Our training handbook will be provided in both print and digital formats. If you would like a large print version or an alternative format, please let us know. All digital versions will be provided in an accessible Word document.

Bathrooms

1. An accessible bathroom is located on the Ground Level, near the Stables, and is easy for guests to access from the event room. Located opposite the accommodation lift. 2. When exiting the Stables, keep going straight, the bathroom will be directly ahead on your right.

Breaks

We will provide formal breaks every 90 minutes during the day. You are welcome to take more breaks than this or use the sensory space at any time - we are happy to chat with you about any areas you may have missed during the training, and all materials are also covered in our handbook.
