Supporting Mental Wellbeing in Business: Lifeline Accidental Counsellor Foundations Workshop

The Maitland Business Chamber is committed to supporting mental health in the workplace. Following the success of last year’s Mentally Safe event, we are partnering with Bloomfield to offer the Lifeline Accidental Counsellor Course at a subsidised rate for our members. Normally valued at $325, this training equips individuals with essential skills to support colleagues, employees, or clients in emotional distress while maintaining professional boundaries. Participants will learn how to recognise when someone is struggling, provide initial support, refer to professional services, and manage their own wellbeing. Mental health challenges impact productivity and team morale, making this training a vital investment for businesses.
