About the presenters:

Kathy Hinch holds a Master of Music (Performance Teaching) from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Music (Jazz and Improvisation) from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) and is an accomplished CCM singer and voice teacher with extensive experience in both performance and education. Kathy’s teaching career spans both private studios in addition to government and private secondary schools, including Williamstown High School, The Peninsula Grammar School, and at the ‘Victorian State Schools Spectacular’ where she serves on the music staff as the Principal Voice Associate. Kathy has developed a strong interest in preparing students for the VCE Contemporary Voice exams, guiding them to build the skills, confidence, and preparation needed to reach their full potential. Passionate about her own professional growth, Kathy continuously seeks to learn from her peers while working to inspire and encourage the next generation of vocalists.

Curtis Bayliss brings his experience as a voice teacher and accompanist of VCE Repertoire and Music Investigation. Somewhat specialising in male voices he is a voice teacher at Camberwell Grammar School and at Melbourne High School, in addition to maintaining a busy private voice studio with students ranging from beginner nine year olds to off-Broadway and West-End experienced performers.
