ACEC's Council Issues Forum at Albany Public Library - Wednesday 20th of August.
Event description
Albany Community Environment Centre Inc. (ACEC) is hosting a Council Issues Forum at Albany Public Library at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday 20th of August.
The Council Issues Forum is an opportunity for prospective candidates in the Albany Council elections to hear what matters to our community when it comes to our environment, sustainability and healthy neighbourhoods. It is also an opportunity for members of the community to meet candidates and become more informed when voting in the upcoming Council elections.
We are inviting members of environment and community groups to address prospective candidates and the audience with 4-minute presentations on key issues such as biodiversity, climate change, mining, the harbours and waterways, planning issues and so forth. The candidates will then have the opportunity to respond.
We hope you are able to attend the forum next Wednesday. Please share this invite within your network.
The event is being held at Albany Public Library, 221 York Street, Kinjarling-Albany, from 5.30-7.30 p.m. on Wednesday 20th of August 2025.
