Gerry Maher
Gerry Maher, Executive Chef, Rosehill Gardens, Australian Turf Club (ATC), has been in the hospitality industry since he was sixteen and has over 30 years’ experience.
After studying Catering and Hospitality at the National College of Ireland, Gerry’s career has been dedicated to the hospitality industry, taking him across the globe, in roles including Sous Chef at the Sydney Olympic Games, Executive Chef for an award-winning boutique kosher catering company, owner of a catering company, and now leading the kitchen and catering team at Rosehill Gardens, Australian Turf Club (ATC).
Gerry Maher is passionate about the food industry experience which provides consistent variety and learning, due to its diversity. From ingredients and how different cultures and chefs utilise them, to the mix of people in the industry, Gerry believes his career is a journey of learning and every day offers something new.
