Event description

The Australian Academy of Science's Early- and Mid-Career Researcher (EMCR) Forum is hosting an interactive session with the ARC on improving grant outcomes for EMCRs. This 2-hour online workshop will discuss the current priorities of the ARC, including the ARC’s view on funding fundamental research and supporting career mobility, as well as provide advice on writing the National Interest Test (NIT) statement and ROPE statements. There will also be ample opportunity to ask questions during this workshop.

At the workshop, Dr Mary Kelly, ARC Executive Director (Biological Sciences and Biotechnology), will provide valuable advice on strengthening your grant applications, particularly in the STEM fields.

This online-only event is free for all EMCRs (please consider becoming a member of the EMCR Forum).
