Acorn Harvest Build Days
Event description
We're prepping for the Official Acorn Harvest Build Day on Saturday, September 13th!
Join us in preparing our equipment for final assembly! Learn about Indigenous TEK and the specialized equipment we designed for the Acorn Harvest.
This Clean and Sober Event is Open to All. But please recognize that -- due to the use of sharp tools, metal, and spray paint -- it may not be appropriate to bring young children.
Enjoy community, meet new friends. Bond over our shared mission of Reopening Indigenous Foodways while also providing a Tangible Tribal Benefit to Ohlone People and Indigenous People residing in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
Be warned: we're going to be putting in some real work. If you have gloves, safety goggles, respirator for spray painting, bring them! One of the ways you can support our efforts is by bringing more tools to share.
We have a diverse list of jobs, split into three sections:
Drilling, Cutting, Gluing
Drilling, Cutting HDPE Buckets
