Join us for a field-based training on acorn gathering guided by Indigenous principles.

Identify Red vs. White Oaks using leaf shape, acorn characteristics, and bark
Understand acorn growing cycles and the significance of mast years
Learn proper harvest methods using low-impact tools
Practice the Honorable Harvest: only take what is freely given
