    The band Acoustic Blend was originally formed by John Rogers in 2008. In the beginning, the band covered acoustic-driven classic rock songs from the '60's '70's. Acoustic guitars and a Blend of vocals were the mainstay. Venues and band members changed over time, as did the list of songs and styles. Becoming a bit more "eclectic and electric", the band now plays a much wider variety of musical hits from the '50's and beyond. Current members of the band have been together for over 10 years. From Coffee houses, small pubs, local breweries, local wineries, to local service clubs and private parties, the band's popularity has grown.

John Rogers - Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar 

A vocal music education major at CSU Fullerton in the 70's and also toured Japan with a select choral group of college singers. John dabbled a bit on the acoustic guitar, but a career path change took him away from music. Turning 50 in 2001, he borrowed a neighbor's guitar and rekindled his desire for music. He began to connect with other musicians in 2002 which eventually led to the early beginnings of the band Acoustic Blend.

 Dan Bedford - Lead Guitar and Vocals

    Dan began playing guitar at age 16 and has been performing in bands throughout his life in Colorado, Alaska, California, Washington and Oregon. He brings an immense background and experience with many styles of music. He also holds a wealth of knowledge on the history of Rock and Roll music. Dan joined the band in 2013.

Phil Bates - Bass Guitar and Vocals

    Phil is a multi-talented artist and musician. He is a highly acclaimed pastel artist, and his work is absolutely breathtaking. Phil brings this artistic passion to his music as our bass player and occasionally adding keyboards or acoustic guitar. Phil joined the band in 2015

Nick Stephens - Drums (Cowbell)

    Nick is a one-of-a -kind young man. He has a great feel for playing drums. He has been involved in local bands and ensembles since high school and joined Acoustic Blend in 2014. From his wildly popular "Surf Music" solo to his ever-present cowbell and charm, Nick is a "rock star" with Acoustic Blend.
