Event description
2024 ACRA-QLD Workshop (NOW ONLINE)Â - Free for members!
"Navigating and collaborating in the secondary prevention research space"
Are you a clinician interested in research or quality improvement but don't know where to start? Do you have lots of data or ideas but need help turning them into something meaningful? Are you an academic looking to make clinical collaborations for research projects?
Then, come join the Australian Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Association—Queensland (ACRA-Qld) as we host an upcomingÂ
collaborative seminar and workshop online on Friday 1st November 2024. We'll work together in small breakout groups to help you understand your clinical data, come up with a research problem or idea, plan quality improvement projects and work up an elevator pitch! Hear tips on conducting research, applying for ethics, how to use your data, indigenous research and funding schemes, and take part in facilitated networking between clinicians and academics. You will even get to pitch your ideas to an expert panel and get feedback.
Groups of participants who workshop an idea from the day and draft a proposal to submit it to a funding scheme in 2025Â have the opportunity to be awarded up to $1000 of research support funding from ACRA-Qld (conditions apply).
Registration is free for ACRA members. Not a member? Special Offer: Join ACRA as part of registering for this event and get the regular $40 joining fee waived.
