Join us for a morning of learning and networking as the Australian Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation Association—Queensland (ACRA-Qld) hosts an upcoming Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention seminar and local research showcase, to be held at the Queensland University of Technology,
Kelvin Grove, on Friday, October 21st.
This hybrid in-person and online educational event will feature a keynote seminar about the Indigenous Outreach Cardiac Rehab Program and Heart of Australia, presented by Cardiologist Dr Alex Dashwood. The event will also feature a showcase of local research in cardiac rehabilitation including inpatient CR, mobile health and telehealth solutions, improving rural access to CR, and rehabilitation post median sternotomy. Afterwards, join us for the 2022 ACRA-Qld AGM and the chance to catch up over a catered lunch.
(Please note this is a hybrid event that will be delivered in person at the venue and online via Zoom simultaneously. Dr Dashwood will attend in person but some of the research showcase speakers may be delivering presentations virtually. All speakers will be available for Q and A/comments from virtual and in person attendees.)
Come join us for what will be a fantastic opportunity to shine a spotlight on the great work being done in Queensland and finally catch up face to face again. Lunch is included for in-person attendees.
