ABOUT THE TUTOR
Margaret Drever has been a member of the Woolgoolga Art Gallery for quite a few years and has previously taught Chinese Brush Painting and Watercolours, at the gallery. She is teacher trained in adult learning and brings that to class each lesson with a plan. Her aim is to inspire others to achieve their best through their art.
Margaret’s journey into art started at high school and progressed through several different painting mediums over the years from porcelain, watercolours, alcohol ink and acrylic. Over the last decade she has achieved 1st, 2nd and 3rd award prizes for paintings from the local North Coast galleries. She likes to be current with her skills and last year she attended a workshop in acrylics for a week with Richard Claremont (the postie artist) and most recently completed an online course with Scott Christensen (paint the ocean).
Retiring in 2022 from the position of Academic Dean for Accounting and Business programs, she now wishes to instruct others along an artistic path.
