ACT Climate Action & Youth Wellbeing Co-design Session
Description
Help shape how climate action can support young people's mental health and wellbeing!
We're bringing together up to 20 young people aged 12 - 25 in Canberra to explore how climate and environmental action can support mental health, wellbeing and connection.
We've been speaking with young people across the ACT about their experiences of loneliness, climate change, mental health and community action. Now, we want your help making sense of what we've heard and turning those insights into practical ideas!
This will be a relaxed, interactive session where we'll:
Meet and connect with other young people who are interested in wellbeing, climate change and making a difference in their communities.
Explore the key findings from our ACT Climate Action & Youth Wellbeing Consultation, share your perspectives, challenge ideas and identify anything we might have missed.
Share ideas and recommendations for how climate and environmental action could better support young people's mental health, wellbeing and sense of connection.
Get creative and co-design practical activities, ideas and resources for a toolkit to help people working with young people
No preparation or previous involvement in the consultation is needed! You don't need to be a climate expert or know anything about mental health. We're interested in your experiences, ideas and opinions, and you definitely don't have to agree with the findings. Different perspectives and constructive feedback are encouraged!
