Join Jess de Campo from Imagine Uraidla and Kendell Terrell from Doing Co for an inspiring conversation as we dive deep into the insights and a new way of doing.

Kendell Terrell, General Manager, Partnerships & Impact - Doing Co

A connector at heart, Kendell brings people, ideas and innovation together to make change happen. At Doing Co, she partners with communities, government and industry to unlock local potential by building trust, reimagining community contribution and removing barriers to participation.

With a decade leading social impact at RAC WA across sustainable travel, youth engagement and road safety, and as co-founder of two volunteer-run organisations Kardy Connect Town Team and Arts Impact WA, Kendell blends localism and systems change to help people and places flourish.

Jess de Campo, Chair - Imagine Uraidla

Jess is Chair and Community Lead for Imagine Uraidla, a resident-led movement that revitalises the Adelaide Hills township through events, local business support, and community groups that boost local wellbeing. She brings a background in education, facilitation, social innovation and grassroots regional development, having held leadership roles with Doing Co, the City of Mitcham, and regional public health programs. Jess combines an understanding of community-led action with a practical focus on unlocking local agency and helping regional networks thrive.

Act Local is an active citizenship and community-building program designed to support both individual community champions and Volunteer Involving Organisations (VIOs). Through practical resources, training, networking opportunities and community connections, Act Local helps people and organisations build the skills, confidence and relationships needed to create positive change in their communities.The program aims to:

• Inspire and support people to get involved in their communities through volunteering and local action

• Help community groups and organisations attract, support and retain volunteers

• Deliver practical training, resources and capacity-building opportunities

• Celebrate and promote active citizenship, volunteering and community leadership
