Acting Workshop Series
Event description
Work with actor and director Tim Paige (Bell Shakespeare, Melbourne Theatre Company), as he takes you through the basics of acting for theatre.
Begin with understanding actor warm-up training, learn about making character choices, introduction to script analysis and translating ideas from a text into action.
No experience is necessary – this intro workshop is open to all.
This workshop is a series of 4 workshops, and each one builds onto the next. You are strongly encouraged to attend all four sessions.

Musical Theatre; A Very Naughty Christmas (Woodward Productions) Pacific Overtures and Company (Watch This) His directorial credits include: director Timon of Athens (Bell Shakespeare): assistant director As You Like It (Melbourne Theatre Company); assistant director of Pop-up Globe’s Melbourne season; resident director for Pop-up Globe, Sydney; director Villainy; founder and director of Shaketh’speare. Tim is an International Fellow of Shakespeare’s Globe and a proud union member (MEAA)
