Actions for Water Exhibition Opening
Event description
See the full exhibition program here
Actions for Water brings together an interdisciplinary group of creative practitioners from diverse geographies to explore water as both a vital ecology and a site of speculative possibility. Artists reimagine lakes, ponds, wetlands, swamps, and intertidal zones as enchanting and storied ecologies—interconnected spaces rich in ancestral, ecological, and scientific knowledge.
Process is central to this work, unfolding through sustained engagement, field research, embodied inquiry, and relational methodologies that trace connections across varied contexts. Water is imagined as a shared commons—imbued with collective histories, cultural memory, and communal stewardship.
