Activate 2025 PD Adelaide

Welcome to Activate 2025!

Professional development and peer exchange are core elements of Activate 2025. We offer a range of professional learning experience as part of Activate 2025, and we encourage every Activate teacher, whether you're new to the program or returning, to attend one of our Activate PD workshops. 

Together, we'll unpack the all-important program logistics and explore the key pedagogical approaches that underpin Activate. It’s also a great opportunity to network and collaborate with colleagues, hear and share best practice and to get set up for Activate success.

We know securing release time can be challenging but we strongly encourage you to attend if you possibly can. We promise this PD will be fun, interactive and, most of all, practical. If you can't make it to this event in person, you can choose from one of five short online workshops instead - click here for details of these. 

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This event is open exclusively to all educators who are delivering Future Anything's Activate 2025 program. All Activate 2025 teachers, new and returning, are encouraged to attend. Attendance is free of charge!

• Registration is from 8.30am with the event running from 8.45am - 3pm
• Lunch and refreshments are included.
• Participants will receive a certificate of attendance. 
• Attendance is FREE OF CHARGE for registered Activate 2025 teachers. 

OUTLINE PROGRAM:

• 8.45am - Welcome & intro
• Part 1: What is Activate? 
  • This session provides a general overview of Activate 2025 including program timeline and key dates, impact measurement, how to access the curriculum, and where to find help.
• Part 2: The Future Anything Odyssey & Creativity/Ideation/Prototyping
  • This session digs into the 'how' of taking students from problem to solution, unpacking flagship Activate activities, and reveals tips and tricks to building creative confidence in your classroom.
• Part 3: Curriculum Alignment & Assessment 
  • This session supports teaching teams to map their Activate curriculum delivery to their school context, and calendar, and design and develop curriculum aligned assessment instruments.
• 3pm Workshop ends
