Join us for our first event of 2026.

🌿 Three days of community & nature 🌿

Get ready for a long weekend of connection, workshops, live music, camping, and the heartwarming act of planting 40 000 native seedlings! This is your chance to be part of a meaningful restoration project, a family friendly, inclusive and drug free event which is open to all ages. Everyone is welcome to come and help us create habitat for wildlife and bring the biodiversity back in a highly salt-affected landscape.⛺️ 🌠 🧘‍♂️ 🪘

🌿 Restoring Nature's Beauty 🌿

This year, we are welcomed on the property of Paul and Fran, where we will plant a mix of 20 species, across 13.7 hectares.

Located close to the townsite of Wagin, this 60 hectare property sits on the edge of a network of salt lakes that make up the Blackwood River Catchment. Here, like many parts of the Wheatbelt, the floodplain between Gundaring Lake Nature Reserve and Parkeyerring Nature Reserve is becoming increasingly degraded due to historic clearing, poor land management and increasing salinity. Small remnant stands of York Gum, Wandoo, Sheoak and Melaleuca are being replaced by samphire and bare salt scalded land. 

The landholders wish to restore their property back to native bush to reverse this process, increasing biodiversity, improve soil health and enhance amenity.

This is your chance to be part of a meaningful restoration project established in tight partnership with our long term partner Trilllion Trees  Australia, who are growing the trees in their nursery.

🌿 Cultural Immersion & Activities🌿

Engage in workshops, games, yoga, meditation, and lots of kid's activites (and a dedicated planting morning) all amidst the breathtaking natural beauty of the Wheatbelt. 🖌🎾🥾🧘🏾‍♀️

🌿Live Music & Entertainment 🌿

Groove to the beats of our farm-field mobile DJs during the day and enjoy live bands, DJ sets, vocal performances, and campfire sing-alongs by night. It's a celebration of community, music, and nature!  💃 🕺 🎶 🪕 🎷

🌿Delicious Meals & Campfire vibes 🌿

Our Kitchen Witches are cooking up a storm with organic, healthy meals to fuel your planting efforts. Gather around the campfire, share stories, and savor the flavors of communal dining under the stars.🍲🥗🥣🥘

🌿Practical details🌿

✮ Dates: Friday 29 May to Monday 1st of June (WA long weekend, includes planting on monday morning)
✮ Location: Wagin, WA [address to be shared later]

If you have been our events before, this one will have a “back to the roots” vibe, and if it’s your first time, be ready for the full Activate experience.

Please note that to plant 40 000 trees is no small feat, so when booking your ticket, be mindful you are comitting to join us for the 3 days.

Ticket prices: Adults $170  I  Concession $130  I  Teens 10-16 $80  I  Kids 3-9 $40  I  Kids under 3 are free.

One ticket covers you for all three days of the festival and includes:

✮ Live music, DJs & entertainment
✮ Workshops, games, classes and kids activities
✮ All meals and snacks including tea & coffee
✮ Campground with access to toilets (no showers)
✮ Treeplanting equipment

✮ If you do not wish to camp, you are welcome to stay in your vehicle/van etc. Caravans and motorhomes are also welcome (but no private access to electricity or water)
✮ Program of the weekend to be finalised closer to the event
✮ Please do not bring your dog or other animals to this event

Ticket terms and conditions can be accessed here. 

Please note: Refunds can only be given up to 7 days prior to the event. This gives us a bit of time to find new tree planters to put the seedlings in the ground. If you cannot attend at the very last minute and/or give your ticket to someone else, please let us know so that we can keep track of the tree planters. Otherwise, we recommend using TIXEL to sell/buy ticket
