You will be exercising to the Geri-Fit® program videos, which are progressive workouts including a range of exercises.

All equipment is provided.

It is recommended that you wear light exercise clothing and bring water to drink during the workout. Participants are encouraged to attend as many of the sessions across 9 weeks as possible to receive the full benefit of the program.

Note: Participants are advised to consult their GP before commencing a new exercise program.

These sessions are for people aged 60 years and older.

Places are limited and bookings are essential.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Can I attend both the Active Ageing Armadale and Active Ageing Kelmscott programs?

No. Due to the popularity of the Active Ageing program, we are now offering the program in two locations to allow more participants to join and improve their strength and wellbeing.

What are the dates of the Active Ageing Armadale program?

Every Tuesday, 10:00am - 11:00am, commencing 4 February 2025 for nine weeks.

  • 4, 11, 18, 25 February
  • 4, 11, 18, 25 March
  • 1 April

Can I attend just one class?

No. As these classes build on exercises participants will have learnt in previous classes, we encourage participants to attend as many of the classes as possible.

Do I need to register for all nine classes in the Active Ageing program?

No. Once you have registered for either Active Ageing Armadale or Active Ageing Kelmscott through Humanitix or by calling 9394 5156, you are registered for the entire program.

I’m not yet 60 years old. Can I still attend?

No. This program is for people aged 60 years and older.

Do I need to bring anything?

We recommend you wear light exercise clothing that you feel comfortable in and bring a water bottle.

I’m running late for a class. Can I still attend?

No, we do not allow late entry to our classes for health and safety reasons.

Can I bring my own weights or stretch band to class?

Yes. If you have your own weights or a stretch band that you would prefer to use during the class you are welcome to bring those.

Please note, during the first class of the program we do not use weights.
