Active Kinders Day is here in Summer for a fun day of sport, fitness and movement sessions at Wyndham Park in Werribee.

All sessions are tailored for Kinder-aged kids (3 to 6 years) and delivered by local Wyndham providers. No experience is required and suitable for all abilities. All sessions are FREE!

Date - Friday 17 January 2025, 10:00am-12:00pm
Location - Wyndham Park, Werribee (Eastern Lawn, Entry via Wedge St Piazza, Watton St Werribee)

Choose from a range of activities across three time slots - this is a great opportunity for kinder kids to try an activity of interest and discover how to continue participating.

Activities include:

Athletics - Ready Steady Go Kids will give kinder kids athletics a try along with and some fun balance and coordination circuits.
AFL Football - The team from Kelly Mini Sports will take kids through a fun session learning some AFL footy skills.
Cricket - Cricket Victoria will take kids through the basics of batting, bowling and catching to help develop your child's skills.
Football (Soccer) - Coaches from Western United Football Clubwill be delivering some fun soccer/football sessions for kids!
Gymnastics- Werribee Gymnastics Club will teach children the fundamentals of gymnastics movement, develop coordination and create a good sense of body awareness through a circuit of different activities.
Mini Movers - The Mini Movers team will utilise different sports such as bowls and golf to increase the motor skills of kinder kids in a fun and easy to follow format.

Kids can book into three different time slots - 10:00am, 10:45am & 11:30am. This allows kids to try up to three activities of your choice on the day.

Pre-registrations are required for all sessions. Each session will cater for a set amount of kids, so get your booking in early to avoid missing out. PLEASE ONLY BOOK SESSIONS IF YOU CAN ATTEND.

All sessions are delivered by a range of local Wyndham providers in partnership with Wyndham City as part of the Active Wyndham Calendar Initiative and are FREE. The Active Wyndham Calendar aims to help more Wyndham residents to find physical activities that they enjoy.
