RSL Queensland has selected Active Lifestyles events throughout Queensland to provide opportunities for veterans, current serving Defence members, partners, and children to take part in activities while connecting with fellow members of the Defence family.

In this action packed dual session, you will explore the Nerang National Park both on foot and via mountain bike. Included in this activity is 1.5 hours of hiking, followed by 1.5 hours of mountain biking - led by the experienced allied health practitioners at OpentraX.

Refreshments will be provided at the halfway point.

There will be two sessions running on the one day, please register for one event time only.

Requirements

This activity is open to Veterans, current serving Defence members, their partners, and children 15 years or older.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
You will not be able to participant in the activity if you do not bring your own helmet.
Moderate fitness level required. Intermediate mountain biking skills required.

What to bring

Bikes provided however you are required to bring your own helmet.
Bring a hat, sunscreen, water, small backpack.

Cost: Free

Please note that prior to the event, you will be required to complete an RSL QLD waiver and an OpentraX waiver. This will be emailed to you after registration. All attendees will be unable to participate without completing the waivers.

Location: Nerang Sports Centre, 1 Hope Street, Nerang. Meeting Point- grassed area next to Velodrome.
