From Vision to Action: Bringing Our Rivers to Life.

Join Business Western Sydney for their Inaugural Active Rivers Collective (ARC) Summit 2026, with The Hon. Rose Jackson MLC, Minister for Water, Minister for Housing, Minister for Homelessness, Minister for Mental Health and Minister for Youth on 23rd October 2026.

Building on the work of the Western Sydney Rivers Taskforce and the release of last years Our Rivers report, this year’s Summit will move the conversation from vision to action, exploring the practical steps needed to better connect Western Sydney communities with their waterways.

This Summit will explore:

Connecting communities with our rivers: creating better access and more opportunities for recreation, activity and enjoyment along Western Sydney’s waterways.
Turning vision into action: how government, councils, community and industry can work together to deliver practical river activation.
Creating healthier, more active river communities: recognising the role our waterways can play in liveability, wellbeing, recreation and the future of Western Sydney.
