Active Supervision
Online Event
Description
Active Supervision
Active supervision means being fully present, alert, and intentionally engaged with children at all times—seeing it, anticipating it, and responding to it. If educators haven’t attended training, how can we be confident they’re fully equipped to supervise effectively?
This is one of the most common areas for breaches in services. Educators must position themselves with purpose to maintain clear visibility of all areas, move continuously through the environment, and actively scan for risks before they escalate into incidents.
Strong supervision isn’t passive—it’s proactive, visible, and consistent.
