Adapt Don't Stop Workshop

Running under Spacecubed's Adapt Don't Stop Campaign, Plus Eight will be supporting entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals in the wake of COVID-19 by hosting a series of Adapt Don't Stop Workshops where participants can create new strategies and validate new business models within the digital world.

If you're a Business Owner, these Workshops will help you:
• Rapidly test a new product or service offering, quickly and before you invest significant time and financial resources.
• Learn new approaches to problem-solving and product/service development.
• Get equipped with the tools that top companies around the world are using to innovate and grow profits and market share.
• Access expert support, mentors and funding opportunities.
• Pitch to an audience of potential customers and supporters.

Are you an Intrapreneur? These Workshops will help you:
• Learn the methodologies and processes used by top companies and innovators around the world.
• Nurture your entrepreneurial spirit, and learn how to test new ideas quickly and build strong business cases to get them implemented as an intrapreneur and drive impact within your organisation.
• Explore themes such as lean canvas, customer-centricity, design-thinking and rapid prototyping.
• Learn how to succinctly and effectively pitch and communicate your ideas to teams, executives and community.

Over the course of two half-day workshops, you'll be challenged by leading startup mentors and be given the support to test, develop and validate your ideas and grow your skills as a leader in the community.

Day 1: 16/Apr - 8am to 10.30am AWST / 10am to 12.30am AEST

• How to develop a winning idea from concept to impact
• Customer discovery: How to use empathy to drive growth and success
• How to prototype and test your ideas
• How to stay ahead as our world and economy is transformed by technology

Day 2: 23/Apr - 8am to 10.30am AWST / 10am to 12.30am AEST

• Assessing the outcomes of putting in practice Day 1 learnings
• Business model and business basics
• How to efficiently and effectively pitch your ideas

This program is about helping you grow your current business, or a new idea - we recommend coming with an existing idea that you're wanting to work on throughout the day.

The idea can be an existing business, or something that you have thought about but haven't worked on yet.
