Learn more about the innovative, annual screen adaptation program, and get ready to submit! Available Australia wide.

Adaptable: Turning the Page to Screen, an initiative of Queensland Writers Centre, returns in 2022/23 for a fifth year of forging creative connections between the literary and screen communities. The Program seeks material for film or television adaptation, and accepts submissions of manuscripts of any genre, fiction or non-fiction, published or unpublished. Successful applicants are given the opportunity to pitch published and/or publication-ready novels, short stories, biographies, and non-fiction works with potential for screen adaptation to producers, showrunners, and screenwriters at an event in partnership with Gold Coast Film Festival.

This online information session is your opportunity to learn more about the program and the unique opportunities it presents to Australian writers both emerging and established, ask your questions, and begin preparing your submission.

Format

This is a free, live stream only session held as part of the Adaptable 2022/23 program, it will be live streamed solely to an online audience. Please note this session will not be recorded.
