Adaptive Paddle Meet and Greet, Water Week 2025

Lancaster Water Week is an annual celebration of the 1,400 miles of waterways in Lancaster County, PA. Join us for over 60 events as we paddle, explore, volunteer, and take action for the streams and rivers of Lancaster County! Learn more: www.lancasterwaterweek.org
In conjunction with the Lancaster Conservancy 2025 Water Week and the Conestoga River Club, the Susquehanna Valley Chapter of Team River Runner, is proud to announce an Information Session focusing on Adaptive Paddling
Team River Runner (TRR) is a National non-profit organization whose mission is to provide all active duty, veterans and their families an opportunity to find health, healing, community purpose, and new challenges through adventure and adaptive paddle sports. In addition, Team River Runner has welcomed individuals from the community with varying disabilities into their programming.
Through Adaptive Paddling certification and endorsement programs based upon the American Canoe Association’s Essential Eligibility Criteria. https://americancanoe.org/eec/Team River Runner instructors have the knowledge, and skill sets to give individuals with disabilities the opportunity to kayak under their own power within their communities.

What To Expect:
• 6:00 – 6:15: Arrival and check in
• 6:15 – 7:00: Large group presentation given by instructors from Susquehanna Valley Team River Runner
• 7:00 -8:00: One-on-one conversations with an SVTRRInstructor discussing options and possible adaptations to meet your individual needs to provide you with a positive kayaking experience.
Team River Runner Waiver: In order to take part in this event each participant is required to complete a liability and media release waiver at the link below. Will need the following information to complete the waiver.
