Event description

The Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of South Australia (RA&HS) is inviting you to a rare glimpse behind the scenes to celebrate 100-years at the venue that hosted many of the most iconic moments in our state’s history – the beloved Royal Adelaide Show, the Beatles, Big Day Out, the Queen, Billy Graham, harness racing, SANFL, and the events that have brought millions of people together.

Tours will begin at the RA&HS Archives building and last between 60-90 minutes depending on weather.

The tours are suitable for all ages, however, please be aware that there will be approximately 2-3kms of walking, with stairs in some locations, such as the upper level of the Woodchopping arena judges' room. If you have any queries regarding accessibility or any other issues, please call (08) 8210 5218.

Water taps are available onsite to fill drink bottles, and the Jubilee Cafe serves food and drinks.

Tours are free to attend, though bookings are essential as capacity is limited. Tours are proudly part of South Australia’s History Festival 2025.
