    Event description

How long has that boring task sat at the bottom of your to-do list?

    • Long enough for your supervisor to notice?
    • Long enough for you to go down a shame spiral whenever you think about it?
    • Long enough for you to remember it in the middle of the night and SWEAR to handle it "first thing in the morning"?

If you're fed up with fighting against your ADHD mind, and you're ready to become its best friend, this workshop is for you! This highly practical, interactive session is designed to empower people with ADHD by reframing your neurodivergence as a unique strength rather than a deficit.

    1. You'll gain self-awareness, identifying the parts of ADHD you relate to (and those you don't). We'll work together to get out of the shame spiral so you can acknowledge what you need to do your work well.
    2. You'll learn critical self-advocacy skills so you can effectively ask for reasonable accommodations from your supervisor or manager and start working at your full potential.
    3. And you'll master practical strategies for adapting to a world not tailored for ADHD minds. It's not always possible to change your environment, but there are lots of ways to capitalize on the strengths of ADHD while mitigating the more challenging aspects of it.

Through engaging discussions, live polls, and communal activities, you'll explore the integration of ADHD into your personal and professional lives, uncovering how to leverage your fast-paced thinking and creativity. The workshop creates a supportive environment filled with joy and connection, where participants share experiences and insights, fostering a sense of solidarity and belonging.

This session not only offers valuable tools and insights but also celebrates the diversity of thought and the personal growth that comes with embracing one's neurodivergence. The training will be recorded only for viewing by those who register but cannot attend.
