ADHD Zen: Do-able Declutter Design, Starting at the Kitchen Sink with Cecilia Macaulay
Event description
Our August speaker is Cecilia Macaulay who will be talking about ADHD Zen: Do-able Declutter Design, Starting at the Kitchen Sink
This inspirational, practical webinar is for both chaos-creators and the neat freaks in their lives.
Cecilia will share eye-opening discoveries on how to set up your kitchen and home so a new, natural orderliness appears, and stays around. This then changes how house members relate to each other, and if things go as we hope, you'll find a stronger version of yourself cooking fresh food with a song in your heart. These methods are especially suited to the neurodiverse, and big-picture fast-thinkers who don't like being bossed around. Not even by themselves!
In our time together, Cecilia will share her ways to manage home care without coercion, dread, or unwilling effort. There will be 'before' and 'after' stories of how small changes can turn things around. These are techniques she has spent decades teaching and developing, learned from her 30 years of stays in Japan, and from her immersion in systems-thinking design
- Zones: what you want on the bench and what you don't
- Shrine of beauty and love: How to keep the sink clear without nagging
- Tower of Power: how to set new boundaries in your fridge, so fresh food is visible, saying 'Eat me!'
and more.
There will be lots of time for your questions.
