Event description

Young Jewish Professionals Melbourne, together with Elwood Shule are thrilled to invite you to join us for this inspiring guest presentation.

Thriving in turbulent times... A phrase that seems relevant in this moment of global pandemic craziness, however, these words literally define how our upcoming guest presenter Adir Freilich truly has beaten all odds and survived the unthinkable!

Adir has an incredible story; he was on US Airways flight 1549 when it crashed into the Hudson River on January 15 2009.

Further in 2018, Adir was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

Undergoing these horrifying experiences is frightening to think of beyond words and surviving both a true miracle!

Adir will be joining us via virtual zoom feed from NYC to share his story of RESILIENCE, COURAGE, and POSITIVITY on Monday 3rd August at 12:30pm.

Lock in the time and date and don't miss out on what will unquestionably be an uplifting and inspiring lunchtime presentation!
