    Event description

Graphic design is managed by three main Adobe programs: Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Whether you want to use these programs for fun or work, a thorough understanding of them will help you achieve the results you need.

This workshop will build on what you’ve learned in the Adobe Illustrator Basics workshop to create a double-sided business card using your own logo in Adobe InDesign.

This workshop aims to provide a brief introduction to the many elements of InDesign:

    • page sizing and layout
    • working with shapes and text
    • use of layers
    • working with images

This is a FREE workshop for UTS students.

    About the trainer:

Xavier Beau-Davis has an extensive training and teaching background.

He has taught in varied environments from corporate to university including TAFE and private colleges.

He has worked for more than 20 years in the graphic design industry in both print and multimedia and successfully runs his own agency.
