It’s never too late to build your acting skills!

Boost your confidence, creativity and connection. Hone your skills to create believable characters and captivating performances. This six week program focuses on acting for stage and key scene work. The program culminates in a performance evening for an invited audience. Key techniques linked to the style of realism and naturalism will be explored. This program blends classes, individual and scene partner coaching to empower actors.

Classes take place on Thursday evenings from 6.00 - 8.00pm.  

Ages - 18 - infinity

Thursday August 8: 6.00 - 8.00pm

Thursday August 15: 6.00 - 8.00pm

Thursday August 22: 6.00 - 8.00pm

Thursday August 29: 6.00 - 8.00pm

Thursday September 5: 6.00 - 8.00pm

Saturday  September 7:  9.00 - 5.00pm Intensive Coaching Session (Two hours per group/pairs)

Additional coaching of up to two hours per participant negotiated/as required

Thursday September 12:   6.00pm Showcase Event 

Showcase Event: Thursday 12 September 7.00pm ($10 a ticket)

Fee: $240 per person.

Dr Sharon Hogan is professional theatre director and has taught acting in universities here in Australian and Internationally. Sharon brings her authentic and playful approach to classes, and quickly builds a supportive and safe learning space with new groups. Based on her core belief that everyone can act, extensive experience and research in drama education, Sharon focuses on building confidence and empowering actors.
