    The aim of this webinar is to update GPs on the diagnosis of Adult ADHD in General Practice.  


    Our speakers: 

    • Associate Professor Jörg Strobel: Psychiatrist consultant, Medical Director of Akkadian Health. South Australia
    • Dr Pansy Lai: Mental Health GP, Mindsight Clinic. NSW

    Dr Pansy Lai has been a General Practitioner for 20 years and over time has found that she has developed a passion and special interest in treating mental health conditions. Pansy combines medication strategies and both short- and long-term trauma-informed psychotherapy utilising person-cantered therapy, neuroscience, dialectical behaviour therapy, internal family systems and acceptance and commitment therapy.

    • Dr Daryl Marchant: Senior Psychologist. Victoria

    By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

    · Review culturally sensitive diagnostic tools and assessment measures relevant to General Practitioners for ADHD in Australian adult population

    · Identify the challenges and considerations associated with diagnosing ADHD in Australian adults

    . Discuss the GP's role in reducing medical risk factors, identifying and treating common co-morbidities before referral to specialist and commencing medical treatment

    · Outline management options for adult ADHD within the Australian healthcare system.
