Adult Clothing Swap- Open Session
Event description
Does your wardrobe need a sustainable refresh but you can't commit to a swap event? Join WMRC's Adult Clothing Swap - Open Session, to browse through quality garments donated by the community at your leisure.
This event will be held in the common area of the Bay View Community Centre. Please note, the open session is different from our clothing swap events. There will not be a waste talk and we ask you to please bring your good quality items on hangers.

How it works:
1) Look through your cupboards to find clean and good-quality textile items you no longer wear to swap. Please bring your items on hangers
2) Come to the Bay View Community Centre between 1.30pm and 3.30pm to hand your items to WMRC staff and volunteers to be weighed and sorted.
3) Browse the racks at your leisure from 1.30pm-3.30pm.
A note to resellers:
Please note that WMRC clothing swaps are local community events so that people can refresh their wardrobes with clothes that are new to them. They are not held for resellers to source stock. You will be asked to leave if we believe that you are collecting clothes for resale. If you are struggling financially and need a large quantity of clothing, please let the WMRC staff know so we can arrange something for you.
WMRC Textile Trail:
This event is part of WMRC’s (Re)Love Your Stuff Textile Trail on November 16th and is supported by the Government of Western Australia and the Waste Authority. Find more Textile-Trail events on the (Re)Love Your Stuff webpage and WMRC Humanitix page.
