About the Adult Literacy Program

PAE Libraries offer a program to help adults improve their reading and writing skills in a nurturing environment. We believe one-on-one sessions give students a safe environment to target their needs. 

Who is this for?

This program is for English-speaking adults who would like help with their reading and writing.

What we provide

- Free, one-on-one tutoring. 

- A focus on improving reading and writing skills. Tutors help learners work towards their own goals.

- Weekly sessions. One hour sessions take place at a location and time that suits the tutor and the learner.

- Library and online resources. Access to a variety of specialised books and online materials to support learning.

- Nurturing environment. We offer a nurturing environment and work with individuals to meet them where they are.
